As radio & open source enthusiasts, we are revolutionizing the infrastructure of mobile networks. We believe that 6G base stations will run entirely in software and that this software will be open source. For us, sub-nanosecond synchronization is a light breakfast and O-RAN Split 8 is just the beginning 😜!

The founders

We founded Open Radio Systems in December 2024, based on decades of industry experience in the research, development and commercialization of 5G RANs. In addition to addressing current industry pain points, we aim to overcome key limitations of SDR technology.
